HOW MUCH IS YOUR HIRE COSTS? A booking fee of £250 is required to secure our services for your chosen day. This include's a bar structure, a fully stocked bar, staff, ice, condiments, refrigeration units and plasticware. Glassware is available on request. You can then choose to add drinks PACKAGES.
WHAT AREAS OF THE UK DO YOU COVER? We are based in Sheffield on the outskirts between the Hope Valley, Derbyshire, We are happy to cover, Sheffield and surrounding areas as well as Derbyshire and surrounding areas, please CONTACT us if you are further afield, we are happy to travel. WHAT LICENSES DO WE REQUIRE? Application of a Temporary Events Notice (TENS) will be required and this can be applied for through the relevant council, thr cosy is £21. This will cover the venue for sales of alcohol & music on premises. Should your venue already have a license, or you have opted for a free bar package there will be no need for a license. We are able to apply on your behalf if needed and would charge £30. We have public liability insurance are both licence holders.
CAN I PERSONALISE THE BAR STYLING? Yes we are more than happy to adapt our styling to compliment your chosen theme, we have various pictures on our instagram instagram.com/grayshepherdevents or in our GALLERY All events bars must be booked in advance.
WHEN WILL YOU SET UP THE BAR? We will normally set up on the day of the event, it normally takes 2-3 hours. Depending on the security of the venue and the time of the event we may set up the day before. We may need to deliver some barrells of beer the day before if you specify a handpull (for settling purposes.) Take down normally takes 1-2 hours, this would usually be done at the end of the event, although it may necessary to return the next day to collect any remaining items.
DO YOU WEAR A UNIFORM? Yes we alays wear a uniform, this consists of black trousers, black top and a personalised Gray Shepherd Events grey apron.
NOW FOR THE BORING STUFF..................
We operate a strict ‘Challenge 25’ policy whereby an accepted form of photographic identification (Passport, Drivers License or an EU Identity Card) shall be requested before any alcohol is sold to any person who appears to be under 25 years of age. (A Student Card is not evidence of age). We will not serve anyone under the age of 18 alcohol.
Your guests are not permitted to bring alcohol into the venue, after warning this will result in the closure of the bar. On all bookings we must be the only provider of alcohol for your event.
Glass washing facilities are preferable,but we can make alternative arrangements if they are unavailble.
WIFI or 4G signal is required to use our card machine, if this is not available we can operate a cash only bar.
Physical and verbally abusive from customers will not be tolerated and will be asked to leave the premises, if the problem persists the police will be called.
Our staff have the right to refuse service at any time if they think you’re too intoxicated, purchasing for a minor or being physically or verbally abusive.
If your event is cancelled by you the booking fee will be retained to cover costs.
If your event needs to be rescheduled due to COVID-19 your booking fee maybe used against the new date of our services are available.
